BLENHEIM.
This day
The steamer Lyttelton, laden with flour and pollard for Wellington, struck a snag near the junction of the Warrau and Opawa rivers last night. On reaching the Flats it was found she was making water rapidly, so a considerable portion of the cargo was discharged, but it is believed fully twothirds is damaged by water. The cargo is consigned to Turn bull and Co., Wellington. It is not known if it is insured.
