PAEROA.
(FBOM A COBBEBPONDBNT.) Paeboa. This day. The Faeroa Musical Society gave a concert last night, which for merit and attendance could hardly have been sur- * passed even at the Thames, as visitors from the latter place freely expressed. .Infinite credit is due to Mr Dewar, the conductor, for the pains he took in training, and to the young members for their diligence and attention, the result being an excellent programme, including " The Chough and the Crow," " Oberon," and Locke's music to "Macbeth" was gone through without a fault. For the instrumentalists, the Musical Society are much indebted to Miss Belcher, of the Thames, and Miss Clarke, of Te A rob a, j both assisting with their well recognised ability at thepiano; also to Mr Quip ion, of Tauranga; late of Faeroa, who officiated at : the jorgan. The Ohineinuri Public Library' will benefit handsomely by the performance.
