[Received April 14th, 2.20 p.m.] London, April 11. Lord Cavendish's Murderer Sentenced to Death. Joseph Brady, the first of the prisoners charged with the murder of Lord Cavendish and Mr Burke, have been found guilty, and sentenced to death. In the House of Commons today, Mr Gladstone announced that lord Wolseley and Lord Alcester (Admiral Seymour) will receive pensions of £20C0 a year each for life.

[Received April 14,12.15 p.m.] London April 13. The trial of the Dynamite Conspirators at the Bow St. Police Court is still proceeding. Mr Poland the prosecuting counsel has further shown in his opening speech that Gallaghar is the prime mover of the dynamite faction, and has for some time past been in correspondence with Devoy, Eossa, and other leaders of the L ish revolutionary party in America. Wool market continues quiet, new arrivals to date for the next auctions amount to 250,000 bales.

London, April 13. The trial of the prisoner Brady, for the murder of Lord Fredk. Cavendish and Mr Burke, is still .proceeding at Dublin. Evidence was given yesterday by independent witnesses fully confirming the statements of the' informer Carey. The counsel for the defence are now endeavoring to prove en alibi on behalf of the prisoner. London, Apiil 12. The total reserve in the Bank of Eng* land in notes and bullion is £11,500,009, being £2,000,000 less than on last Thursday. The proportion of reserve to liabilities has advanced to 37 per cent. The bank rate of discount remains at 3 per cent., and the market rate at 2f. Consuls are unchanged at 10-f, and New Zealand securities at the following quotations:- 5 per cent. 10-40 loan, 107£; 5 per cent. 1889 loan, 106; 4f per cent. 1879-1904 loan, 102|;4percent. inscribed ciock, 102|. The markets for colonial produce are unchanged.
