AUCKLAND.
This day. The New Zealand Insurance Company, who purchased the leasehold property in Queen street yesterday, intend covering the whole block with four-storey buildings, to dost 30,000. A large produce firm is said to have failed for £10,000, and it is stated that the estate, which has been assigned for the benefit of creditors, will pay Is 6d in the £. More Loyalty on Te Eooti's Past. It is reported that Te Kooti will be a candidate for the Western Maori electoral district at the next election.
