[Specials to the Peess Association.] London, March 29. The public have absorbed the greater portion of the balance of the Victorian loan. The Eight Eev. Ward White Benson, D.D., has been enthroned as Archbishop of Canterbury and Primate of all England. Dr Thornton, Bishop of Ballarat and the following former Bishops of Australia—the Eight Rev. Edward Wyndham Tuffnell, D.D., the Eight Eev. Charles Henry Bromby, and the Eight Eev. Charles Perry—-assisted at the ceremony, which was a most impressive one. Sir Hercules Bobinson leaves for Cape Town on the 24th of April. The Zulus are rising in the Transvaal. Sir John Pope Hennessy sails for Mauritius on the 10th of May.
