This day. Arrived: Ship Waitangi, Captain Friston, from London. She had an un eventful passage. During gales in the Bay of Biscay, the second officer and the boatswain received severe injuries, and the decks vrnre swept of everything moveable, including ail her live stock. Whilst at Tristan d'Acunha, the islanders reported the wreck of the ship Shakespere, from an adjacent island, on which they were sealing. They warned the captain of. his .danger,, but be did not seem to take any heed. From the »urn ber of dead bodies and yards fljating about, a vessel of 1000 tons has been wrecked at the same place.
