Arrival of the First of a Direct Line of Steamers from England.
Wbliington, March 20. The steamer British King arrived from London at 10.30 last night; she id com manded by John Kelly. The passage, with the exception of crossing the Bay of Biscay, was very fine, and the time occupied on the voyage from New Plymouth to Wellington was 49J days. She bring a eleven saloon passengers; seven secondclass, and 10 steerage, a number of whom are destined for Canterbury.
