Yesterday. The ram and ewe fair entries were slightly more numerous than last year, and of good quality. There were a few^ changes of owners at fairly satisfactory prices. Mr Peter Cunningham, President of the Agricultural and Pastoral Association, gives a 75 guinea cup for the highest prize taken in breeding sheep; for cattle and horses, a4O guinea cup; for highest prize takeri n agricultural implements, 40 guinea medal; for progress in colonial industries, two other members offer a 10 guinea cup, uuder conditions to be made by the committee. Mr Montgomery addresses his constituents at Akaroa on Wednesday evening next. The New Zealand Shipping Company have received a cablegram announcing the arrival at Home of tbe Wairoa. all well. This afternoon Mr Fleming, hairdresser Colombo street, and his wife, were thrown
out of a buorgy through the horse shying at a tram. The lady is much bruised about the face. The gentleman is insensible, and in a precarious condition.
