WELLINGTON.
This day. Mr W. Fraser, Mayor of Thames, and Mr Robert Graham arrived here by the Wanaka yesterday, and have arranged to meet Ministers on Tuesday in reference to the acquisition of certain blocks of land on behalf of your Railway Company. An invitation has been forwarded to the j Thames Navals and Dunedin Artillery to take part in a return match between the local blue jackets and the D Battery of Artillery this day fortnight.
