Sir Bryan O'Loghlen declares that Mr Gillies' recent statement regarding, the amount of the last loan, which is available for railways, is misleading: Sydney, Yesterday. It is understood that Mr Copeland, the Minister of Works, is at once resigning his portfolio in consequence of the strictures passed on his conduct at a banquet on Saturday last (St. Patrick's Day), when he was intoxicated, and made an injudicious speech in favor of Irishmen, and justified his refusal to grant a free railway pass to Redmond. The gold rush near Barmedman has, proved a failure.
