TIMARU.

Friday. At the Criminal Session of the District Court to«day, Jas. Moyle, for indecent assault, was found not guilty.—-In the charges of conspiracy to defraud, against Patrick Ryan, Bridget Ryan, and Mary Kyan (linsband, wife, and daughter), the jury returned a verdict of g'lilty against the husband and wife, and not guilty against the daughter. The Judge pointed out that this amounted to a verdict of not guilty against the two former, as a husband and wife could not conspire together, and they were consequently discharged. The charge of fraudulent bankruptcy against Patrick Ryan occupied the District Court all yesterday, and up to a late hour last night, when the jury returned a verdict of guilty. Sentence was deferred till Monday.
