Yesterday. An inquest on the body of ■■ Susan Duncan was adjourned to get further evidence. Respecting the missing seaman, Baker, supposed to be drowned at the same time, it has been ascertained that Susan Duncan, whose body has been recovered, was seen on the Railway wharf after, midnight on Saturday in company with Charles Baker, a seaman belonging to the schooner Saxon. The woman Deitrich, who ac~ panied them down the wharf and fell asleep while awaiting their return, has informed the police that she saw Duncan fall over the wharf, but she is in so bemuddled a condition with drink that the police can make nothing of her -state* ments.
