WELLINGTON.
This day.
Government have notified that long service pay will henceforth be granted to all non commissioned officers and constables at the rate of sixpence for fire years and one shilling for ten years. The Thames Navals have made the highest score in the matches between the Naval Brigades of the colony and the Dunedin Artillery. The following are the number of points made by each company : Thames 701, Dunedin Artillery 694, Wellington Navals 691, Nelson 656, Auckland 585.
