This day. The Promoted Storm.
Capt. Edwin stales that from observations made, he can find no traces of the storm which Mr Wiggins, of Ottawa, says will pass orer the Australian colonies to* morrow. He is also of opinion that the storm would giro 48 hours' notice of its approaoh,
The Harbour Board yesterday decided to increase the salary of Mr Lyon, the Secretary, from £300 to £400. A writ for the Selwynseat was issued yesterday, and made returnable by April 17th.
