It is alleged that Mr Brassey has received instructions to take proceedings against a Thames publican to recover £600 damages for seduction. The prosecutrix was recently charged with concealment of birth, but was found not guilty.
Steps are already being taken bore for the reception of Mr Redmond, the Land Leaguer. . Mr Fond now admits the genuineness of the Raglan diamond. Rumors are freely current that before long the public of Auckland will be mads acquainted with further discoveries of diamonds. The counties of Wbangaiei and Hokianga being likely to divide honors ia this respect with Raglan.
