DEEP LEVFL CROSS
The stopes above No. 4 level of the Imperial shaft continue of look well, and a few pounds of stone are obtained from all the stopes when the reef is broken. The general dirt from bore is also shaping well at the battery. The drive on the banging wall leader is now in 35ft, and gold was seen right up to the face. Another body of quartz has made its appearance on the hangingwall side of the drive, and from, its course the two leaders will junction a short distance ahead. The manager thinks this is probably a leader from the big blow of quartz met with when tne crosslode was first cut.
