Yesterday.
The man Doyle, who presented a revolver at another man named Robertson, in Lake Wanaka, and only for the wer.pon missing fire would have shot him, has been sentenced to two months for common assault, the more serious charge being withdrawn. Drink was at the bottom of the affair. .
Thisday. Arrived: Ship Invercargill, Captain Muir, with 36 passengers, from London.
