Yesterday. A fire broke out this afternoon on the premises of Messrs Griffin & Sons, biscuit makers. The work-people had left about an hour when the fire was discovered breaking through the roof of the biscuit factory room. The fire was confined to that portion of the building. Some of the contents were damaged by the fire and water. The premises are partly insured —£300 in the North Brittsh, and £400 in the Colonial. ' The stock, which is damaged to the extent of about £150, is insured.
