The steamer Kangaroo arrived this morning from Dunedin with the crane for the Harbor works. According to the Consuiting Engineers report there is now 688 feet finished of the breakwater ; the depth at the outer end, at high-water spring tides, being 20 feet, and nine to ten feet at low water.
