KUMARA.
This day. In consequence of some too intimate correspondence written by Mr McKenzie Ross to a married lady, said to be acting as stewardess one one of the Anchor Line steamers, her mother, who keeps the Greymouth Hotel in Kumara, horse whipped the young man in the street. The Times publishes the letter.
