Patersou, the Christchureh Presbytery was authorised to communicate with the Free Church of Scotland with the object of securing St. Andrew's Church and property, and having them put in possession of St. Andrew's congregation. An address to the Governor, Sir W. Jervois, was adopted. It is to be presented by the Wellington Presbytery. The Mayor gives a garden party tomorrow afternoon, in honor of the members of the Presbyterian General Assembly.
