An alteration has been mrde in the plans for the erection of the machineiy at the Crown Princess shaft, which will considerably decrease the size of the engine-house. The boiler, which it wss formerly proposed to put at the nerlb. side of the engine, and fronting to Pollen street, is to be placed in the Hauraki Hall, fronting to Albert street. A partition is obe mede in the centre of the the building, and the boiler will occupy the eastern compartmeat..
