Mr Cameron, the well known tobacco, merchant of Virginia, was a passenger by the Rotomahan yesterday, He is making a tour of New Zealand.
Intelligence has been received from the Agent-General that fifty domestic servants have been sent to Auckland by a vessel leaving London this month. The weights for the Bushman's purse at the Helensville races are:—:Soukar; Bst 121ta ; Fishwoman, Bst ; Pacific, Bst; Native,7st lOlbs;Penrose, 7st7lbs;Bryan O'Lynn, 6st lOlbs ; Comet, 6st lOlbs.
