Criminal Sessions
This day;
At the 'Supreme Court Criminal: Sessions true bills were found against Mrs Hamilton and Priestly for the murder of Hugh Aitken Hamilton; George Olsen, attempted murder ; Peter Geilon, stealing from dwelling; James Kay, burglary. Wl WeTib", for" stealing from a"dwelling, was found not guilty", and discharged. Henry Mason was sentenced to 2 years' imprisonment for burglary. ;
Arrived: H.M.S. Lark, twenty-one days from Sydney.
The Union Sash and Door Company's annual balance-sheet shows a profit of £28,313, which with the balance brought forward leares a sum of £33,130 available for distribution. A dividend equal to 20 per cent, per annum is declared payable on and after February Ist. • ■
