(Flwi/itfj OWN COBBESPOJTDENr.). ! .. There is little to report from Waibi. The contractors for the tram from the Young Colonial will be finished by the
end rf the month. The contractor for the alterations ;at the Waihi battery is making slow progress, and it will be some time before the alterations are completed unless more hands are put on. The mill has again changed hands, so I ifrppose there will be a chance of getting timber to com* plete the contracts on hand.
