Yesterday.
The enrolling of Volunteers under the new regulations is progressing. At present there are the Naval Artillery, fortysix ; City Rifles, thirty-six; Wanganui Rifles, twenty. There was not thought to be any difficulty in obtaining the full number, or in forming a garrison band. The Alexandra Cavalry have twice as many applicants as the numbars required.
