The Home team at the conclusion of the day's play had scored 332 runs with 4 wickets yet to fail The principal scores were, Horan 120, and Midwinter 38. Great interest was taken in the match, and arrangements have been made to play it out.

A cricket match was commenced yesterday at Ballarat, between Bligh's English eleven and a team representing Ballarat and district. The Home team went in first, and were all disposed of for a total of 226. The match was continued to-day, and when the stumps were drawn the visitors had scored 26.9, for the loss of 9 wickets.
