AUCKLAND.
This day. During a fracas between two men at the North Shore one of the disputants named Johnston stabbed Soullar, the other, in the back with a penknife. The The injury is serious, but is not considered mortal.
On Sunday last Mr Wallace, J.P., was taking a number of people home in a boat from the Wesleyan service at Raglan, when the craft capsized. Minnie Layers. daughter of an Auskland builder, and Edith Wallis were drowned.
