International Rifle Contest.
At the International Rifle Contest, which has been held here, the Victorian team secured the first place; the Tasmanian representatives being second.
Mexbotxene, Yesterday. Cricket—England v- Sandhurst. The English Cricketers commenced a match to-day against 22, at Sandhurst. The home team went in first, and were all disposed of for a total of ICO. At the close of the day's play the Englishmen had lost 6 wickets for 36 runs. There was a large attendance of spectators.
