Melboubne, Tuesday. Mysterious Post-Office RobberyA robbery was committed at the Gene~ ral Posl~oftice during last night. The mail bag containing registered letters and packets, the value of which is as yet unknown, was stolen, and no cjue has y t et been discovered to lead to the identifica tion of the thieves. This day. It has been ascertained that the value of the contents of the registered mail bag stolen on Monday night from the post office was £100. The police are still without any clue to the perpetrators of the robbery. Advance in KerosenePrivate telegrams have been received here announcing a considerable advance in kerosene in America. Sydney, Tuesday. Railway Expenditure. In the report upon the New South Wales railways the total amount expended upon their construction since their commencement is shown to have Dearly reached £1-5,000.
