A telegram from Alexandra says :— "Tawhiao was here to-day, and interviewed Mr Butler (Mr Bryce's secretary). The Nafcire Minister will meet the King at Whatjwhatihoe on Friday next. A number of natives from gawhia and up the country hare already arrived for the meeting."
