[Special to Auckland Stab.] London, September 12, The enemy in their recent advance on Kassassain meditated the capture of that position, as they believed its defence to be weak. Earl Dufferin has been forbidden by the Home Government to make any further concessions with regard to the Convention. Four hundred mules are being shipped from New York, and 300 from Naples, for service iv Egypt.
