NEW PLYMOUTH.
This day. A half-decked fishing boat, with four tons of cargo for Mokau, on crossing the bar at that place, was thrown upon the rocks of the South Head, and was quickly broken up, the sea being heavy. The whole of her cargo, valued at £150, was lost, but all the crew were saved. A second boat with timber, which left Waitara on Friday last, has not been heard of, and great anxiety is felt for her safety.
