RE THE LATE HOSPITAL FUNERAL.
(To the Editor of the Evening Stab.)
Sib, —Mr Jas. Cocks writes fo your contemporary of this morning to say that he did not ride in the express cart, nor was the pace too brisk for the procession to be able to follow. We can only say that we attended the funeral, and distinctly saw Mr Cocks get on the express in BoJleston street, and get off again close to the Hape Hotel, and that the pace was so brisk that neither could Mr Cocks keep his proper place, nor were those who attended the funeral able to keep up with the express. —We are, &c,. Wm. Hamilton. Mack Fitton Old Men's Refuge, Aug. 24,1882.
