This day. The Japanese warship has been thrown open to the public.

At the Police Court today Thomas Binney was charged with the robbery of £58 from two Fukekohe farmers. Mr Pardy stated the case, and asked for a remand. On Saturday the prisoner had do money, as ha borrowed from several persons, but on Saturday he made the acquaintance of two farmers at the Auckland Hotel, and assisted them to bed ; when he returned he had plenty of money, and discharged his score at the bar, and made love to the barmaid, who promised to accompany him for a ride on Sunday. The case was remanded for a week.
