NAPIER.
This day. A Harbor Board meeting resolved to invite competitive designs for harbor improvement, offering a premium of £500 for the best. £150 will be expended in supplying plans of the roadstead and existing harbor works to competitors. A quarter acre section opposite the Post Office, was sold for £3260 to the Colonial Bank.
