In the House of Lords today the Arrears of Rent in Ireland Bill came up for consideration. In Committee two vital amendments to the measure were proposed by'the Marquis of Salisbury, and after debate were agreed to by the House. London, July 31. Australians v. Liverpool. The Australian cricketers commenced a match to-day at Liverpool against the Liverpool club. The wicket was heavy owing to recent rain.
