AUCKLAND.
This day.
A man named James Young died suddenly last night. He had been drinking heavily.
At the Supreme Court to-day, the case Bank/of New Zealand v. Hugh Lusk and W. J. Butler, a claim of £587 money due and interest, was heard. Defendants are executors in the estate of W. Butler, of 'Mongonui, who owed the-Bank the amount claimed at the time of his death. The jury found that the executors had not fully administered t,he estate, but that they had assets in their hands amounting to £580. Judgment for the plaintiff will not be entered up till the question of interest to be charged is decided.
