WEiHNaTOK, Yesterday. Mr Whitakar gave notice to bring in a bill to amend the Mining Companies' Act, 1877, and the Railways Authorisation Act, 1881. Replying to Sir G. Whitmore, Mr Whitaker said Government intended to take no action regarding the alleged inadvisability of the dormant commission <o apt as administrator of Government during the absenc of the Governor devolving upon a member of the Judicial Bench.
