The Victorian revenue for the past quarter amounted to £1,381,000, being an increase of £46,000 compared with the Jane quarter of last year. The revenue for the year 1881-82 amounted to £5,588,000, being an increase of £474,000 compared with the previous year. The following increases are shown by the returns during the year :.— Customs, £221,000 ; excise, £88,000; railways, £137,000 ; stamps, £16,000. The territorial revenue shows a decrease of £10,000 compared with 1880 81. Adelaide, Saturday. The South Australian revenue for the June quarter amounted to £517,000, being an increase of £17,000 compared with the corresponding quarter of last year. The revenue for the year ending June 30 amounted to £2,242,000, being an increase of £231,000 compared with 1880 81. The Customs receipts during the year increased by £85,000, and the land sales by £82,000.

The total receipts for the period named were £1,907,000, being an increase of £217,000 compared with June quarter of last year, The customs show an increase of £45,967, of which spirits contributed £20,571. The taxation shows an increase of £56,518. The returns show the following decreases in revenue, from sugar £3345, from beer £1428.
