LUNACY.

Elizabeth Green, wife of William Greea was charged on suspicion of being of unsound mind. Dr Callan deposed that he had examined Mrs Green on both, Thursday and Friday, and was of opinion she was of unsound mind and unfit to be at large. Her husband was unable to keep her under control. He recommended that she be sent to the Asylum.— William Green deposed that she had been of weak intellect erer since her marriage — eight years ago — and had apparently been getting worse. —Dr Huxtable also gave evidence as to Mrs Green's insanity. His Worship made an | order of committal to the Auckland Lunatic Asylum.
