Intelligence has been received here regarding the Arctic exploring vessel Jeanet. The news to hand is to the effect that she was crushed by the ice io June last, and was abandoned, the officers and crew taking to the boats. One boat load were rescued by the natives on the Siberian coast, and were forwarded on to Irkutsk, in Siberia. Another boat reached the mouth of the Hirer Lena, and its crew were suffering fearfully. The other boat is missing, and it is feared all who were on board have perished.
