Wellington, This day. Te Aro nominations:—J. H. Shaw, C. Johnston, and E. Stafford were proposed. Mr Price retired in favor of Shaw, whom be proposed as a Liberal candidate. A show of hands was largely in favor of Shaw. A poll was demanded.

Kumaba. This day. Edwin Blake and Kichard John Seddon were nominated for the House of Representatives. The show of hands was in favor of Seddon.

Gbeymotjth, This day. Nominations at noon, candidates:— Joseph Petrie, Frank Guinness, David Madden. The show of hands was: Petrie 71, Guiness 39, Madden 28. Guinness demanded a poll. New Plymouth, This day. The nomination for the town of New Plymouth were:—Thomas Kelly and U. Brown. The show of hands was: Brown 22, Kelly 17. A poll was demanded. Oamabtt, This day. The nominations were:—Samuel E. Shrimski and James Hassell. The show of hands was in favor of Shrimski.

Waitaki, This day. John Reid and Thos. Duncan. Show of hands in favor of Reid.

Haweba, This day.

At the Egmont nomination Major Atkinson and George Hutchinson were proposed. The show of hands was: Atkinson 100, Hutcbinson 20. A poll was demanded.

Balclutha, This day. The nominations were Jas. W. Thomp son and Alfred Morton Jowett.

Foxton, This day. At the nomination to-day Butler, Franse, Izard, Newman, Russell, and Wilson were the candidates proposed. The show of hands was in favor of Russell.
