Poet Chalmers, This day. James Macandrew was re-eleoted with* out opposition. Tattbanga, This day. The candidates nominated at noon today were:—George Vesey Stewart, G. B. Morris. Wm. Kelly, and H. T. Rowe. The result of the show of hands was greatly in favor of Stewart. Timabu, This day. R. Turnbull, J. T. Partridge, and J. S. Gibson were nominated for Timaru. The show of hands was in favor of Turnbull.
i Invebcabgili, This day. The following are the nominations for Awarua district:—A. Kinross, J. W. Bain, D. Smith, J.P., and Joyce. The show of hands was in favor of the latter. GiSBOBNE, This day. The nominations are : — McDonald, Locke, Gan n on, and Porter.

Hursthouse, Gibbs, and Huddlestone were nominated, and the show of hands was for HursthdUse, Gibbs being next.
Inangahua, This day. The nominations are T. S. Westori, R. \ H. H. Reeves and W. McLean. v o Richmond, This day. i The nominations for Waimea are :— Joseph Shepbard, James Grower, and Richmond. The show of hands was in taror of Shepbard. Webtpobt, This day. The nominations are:—Eugene O'Connor, and John Munro. The show of hands was in favor of the former.
