This day.
A native named Tawhiuga was drowned at Ohinemutu on Monday night. He went into a hot bath at the Lake Botorua, and apparently fell asleep, tie was found
drowned on the following morning. Soon afterwards a Maori woman was found drowned in a hot bath near the post office under similar circumstances.
