HAWERA.
Yesterday. Long Cabinet meetings have been held by Messrs Bryce, EolJeston and Atkinson, at Mapaia. On Tuesday evening and yesterday morning the country round about was searched, and 150 guns taken from the native whares. This morning Titokowaru's place was searched, end arms secured. It is asserted here that 200 warrants have been prepared, with the names left blank, to be filled in as occasion demands, and that Alexandra Cavalry are to escort the Wanganui natives from Parihaka home. Wi Parata has passed through here on his way home. *
