If I ettilcL choose a time in which to lire,
'Twould be when glorious Summer like a king Trails bis bright robe of sunshine o'er-the
land. Then ererythiug is glad and full of life, " r , And the great heart of nature seems to throb With joyouaneM and spend itself in sonf. The baluby breezes from the innny south With gentle murmnr bsMtoo gn their way, ;, The grove mounds with songs of uappj birds, And babbling brooks with laugher fill the

Would God these sounds of joy mi^ht nerer
oeate. Imperial Summer crowned with fruiU and %i ; flower•, Might ever reign triumphant jjn the land. That tbit could be at come bright golden
