Tokatea (Tributers).—Knox and MeNeill crushed 801 bs of stone for the splendid yield of 40ozs of gold. Habbouk View.—This ground has been repegged out and application is being made for a license.

Josephine.—A new claim on the Whakaroa Creek taken up by Downie and party have obtained very rich prospects of loose gold and small specimen stone. .-. Union.—The manager commenced driving on cross leader in the road level on Saturday, with every indication of success. On Tuesday he obtained 20 pounds of rich specimens, and on Thursday broke out 40 pounds of equally rich stone, some of it worth fully an ounce to the pound.

Tiebnan's Fhebhold G.M.Co. — I found new leader yesterday. I have obtained 81bs of stone from it, showing good blotches of gold. It is 6 inches thick and in good sandstone country. The main drive in lower level is in 48 feet The reef is much improved in size and appearance. It is 18 inches thick and well defined,-but shows.no gold yet. On the south side of gully I have driven on the 12 feet reef 18 inches. I have seen a few colors in the stone. I have all ready, waiting for the carter to take the stuff to the mill.—James Mtjbeay.—Tiki, Sept. 28.

Tokatea.—-The No. 7 lerel has been driven about 26 feet, the country and lode keeping much the same as at date of last report. The quartz contiuues to carry gold more or leas, picked stono having come to hand from each breaking down, with a fair show of gold in the general stuff. There is nothing in the face to denote any change in the character of. the lode; it is highly mineralized, and showing small dabs of gold through the quartz, which is being mixed with the general stuff and sent to the mill. The reef is 18 inches thick, and carrying hard on the footwall. The contractors started on the rise on Monday, and are up about 10 feet. The reef here is broken and split up, "and probably will continue so for another 20 or 30 ibet. The winze in the van level sinking to meet last mentioned work, is down 60 feet, carrying a fine stone lode about two feet thick of very promising appearance, but not showiDg gold, although it may be expected at any moment. The repairs to the battery are so far completed that crushing can be commenced when sufficient stuff has accumulated in the paddock to give a fair start. McNeil and Kmx's tribute block has yielded 39ozs Sdwts of melted gold. —Job* #all.— Corouiandfcl Mail.
