Service of Song.

By the Rotomahana this afternoon the members of the Auckland Band of Hope Union reached the Thames, and were met at the wharf by a large number of Thames friends. The greater portion of the visitors proceeded to the Templar Hall, where lunch was provided, after which all returned to the Academy of Music, where the first programme of the service: of song, known as "John Tregenoweth—his mark" was given. The attendance was very large, principally of ladies and children. The evening performance will take at 8 o'clock, and at 11 o'clock the performeri will re-embark on their return journey.
