■ A large number of Coromandel natives went by train to-day to attend Tawhaio's meeting at Hikurangi. They say they will bring Tawhaio back with them.
De Lias with Marshall and the Dramatic Combination leases in the Te Aniu for JS a pier to- day. ;
The New North Shore Ferry Company have purchased out the old company ; the price is said to be nine thousand for steamers and goodwill.
The prospectus of the Thames Valley Kail way company is issued, with a capital of £400,000, and an influential directory. The proposers intend to construct a. rail way from Morrjnsville to Lake Rotorua under the District Railways Act.
